Mathematics Involved

Quests sit at the core of the challenge ME Maths Championship. Duration and level of difficulty of Quests will increase as students progress through the stages of the Championship. They will consist of a series of short questions which require creativity, logical thinking and challenge students to look at problems from a different perspective.

In keeping with our values of inclusivity, Quests within the School Leagues will include a few more accessible questions. For the subsequent stages all questions will be suitable only for more advanced Mathematicians. Scoring is explained via the Championship Handbook.

For the Finals additional components will sit alongside the Quests to extend and diversify the field of competition. More details to follow for those who reach this stage of the Championship.
