The School Leagues feature a virtual 5-week interschool competition with Quests on our digital platform. It runs from 14th September to 22nd October 2026 (Bands 1–5), starting with a 1-week practice period followed by 4 weeks of competition. Participation is completely free for all students taking part.
Schools should set up the Leagues in class or as an Extra-Curricular Activity (ECA) by forming a "Maths Squad" with students from all year groups within the Band. For example, Band 3 should include students from three different year groups and not overly weighted towards the older students.
Each week, students complete Quests. These are age-appropriate maths problems challenging logic, reasoning, and application. Quests are completed individually on personal devices under exam conditions in school. Top scores contribute to the team's weekly score.
Quests can be completed anytime between Monday 7am and Thursday 2pm (local time) to fit your school’s schedule. Quests must be completed in school under exam conditions. Full details are shared in the Championship Handbook.
